Mat Pilates Classes

Mat Pilates classes available for all levels of fitness and Pilates experience. Our small classes of only 10 people maximum mean you wont get lost in a crowd and modifications to exercises can be easily provided to give you a safe yet challenging work out.

Roll & Release Virtual Class

This class uses foam rollers, tennis balls and spikey balls to assist you in self myofascial release (self massage). You will be guided through different releasing techniques for trigger points and tight muscles from head to toe!  See and feel the difference with increased flexibility, reduced muscle tension and pain. Roll and Release is a great addition to your regular exercise routine.

Prenatal & Post Natal Pilates

Welcome my fellow mums and mums to be! As a mother of two young children I know what it’s like! You are time poor and often your needs come after everyone else’s! 

 

Find time that works for YOU to prepare your body for birth and the physical challenges of being a mum and help to recover post birth and beyond with a knowledgeable and experienced Pilates instructor in women’s health.

 

Prenatal and Postnatal Pilates is a gentle mat exercise class suitable for expectant mothers throughout pregnancy and mothers from 6 weeks post partum. Modified pilates will help manage and prevent common pregnancy related aches and pains, preparing the body for birth and the physical demands of caring for a new baby.

 

This class focuses on toning of upper and lower body, stretching and mobilizing tight muscles, postural correction and pelvic floor and core muscle activation. 

 

Suitable for post C-section, carpal tunnel, de quervains (mummy’s wrist) pelvic girdle pain.

Rehab Pilates

Know that you are in safe hands when you continue your rehab with an APPI Pilates Instructor, the leading Provider in clinical rehabilitation Pilates. 
Working closely with your physical therapist, surgeon or sports doctor, I can assist you in achieving your rehab goals through clinical Pilates. 

My physiotherapy background includes working with sports injuries, lower back pain, post surgical patients, orthopaedic conditions as well as injury prevention.
